Intricate 3D Paper Building Sculptures
The artist takes sheets of lined paper found in ledgers and other financial paperwork and meticulously cuts out bits of the page to build these incredible three dimensional paper sculptures. Using a drafting knife, she carefully removes all of the blank boxes, leaving just the lines to form the basic structure of the page, and sculpts them into these exceptionally detailed buildings.
A portrait constructed from a single unbroken black thread wound through a dense array of galvanized nails mounted on a painted white board, meaning that the darker areas within the portrait are formed solely from the density of the string.
A large, clear helium-filled membrane studded with charcoal spikes, roaming freely within a white room. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the object by pushing and spinning it as it floats within the space, where the walls then slowly accumulate marks and flecks. Watch the video →
York Minster Cathedral fitted with a carpet of grass
Wow!Grass! has transformed York Minster’s 14th century nave in preparation for the York Minster Rose Dinner. More than 900 guests will attend the dinner, being held to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and to raise money for the York Minster Fund.
