The installation is comprised of 11 computer-programmed incandescent light bulbs hung from strings. They playfully re-enact Newton’s Cradle visualizing the transfer of kinetic energy, along with a very satisfying click-clack.
A large, clear helium-filled membrane studded with charcoal spikes, roaming freely within a white room. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the object by pushing and spinning it as it floats within the space, where the walls then slowly accumulate marks and flecks. Watch the video →
The brooklyn artist has built a 25×10 foot tall water tank formed from nearly 1,000 colorful salvaged plexiglass pieces gathered from all over NYC.
Integrated colour and light based artwork utilising bespoke LED lights controlled by the tide and a database of digital photographs contributed by members of the public.
